Description

Departing from Pontarlier, gateway town to the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, this cycling tour takes you through the most typical of the Haut-Jura landscapes. Of St. Point Lake at Lac de l'Abbaye, this route runs over hilly terrain with regular viewpoints and places to picnic or rest. More than a bike ride, it is a real opening on the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the Jura Mountains that is offered. Don't hesitate to make slight detours to discover the Château de Joux, the source of the Saine and its gorges, the eyewear factories and their museum, not to mention the many county cheese dairies whose nuances of taste are specific to each one. between them.
